WINTERLIGHT FAIRE
DECEMBER 3, 2011
Noon-6pm

The annual Winterlight Faire at Prairie Moon Waldorf School is an event that opens the creative richness of Prairie Moon Waldorf School to the greater Lawrence community.

This event marks a critical time in the season when people turn their attention to the warmth of friends, family and community. The Winterlight Faire creates a magical setting for this time, with a unique splendor that is unforgettable to anyone who attends. A variety of hands-on activities are available to Faire-goers including hand-dipping beeswax candles in the Craftman Shoppe, making winter nature-scenes with natural materials in the Great Hall, wet-on-wet painting, a café experience created in the Russian Tea House, Meadowlark Music Together demonstrations and more. Wholesome delicious food will be available, and parking is free. Only minutes from downtown it is conveniently held right after that annual Christmas Parade on December 3rd.

A silent auction, bookstore, and handmade crafts, and unique gifts area provide plenty of opportunities for your holiday shopping experience.

Additional free activities include:
Breadbaking
Meadowlark Music, 12:30 & 4:30
“Fishing” for early childhood

January-February (Dates tba)
