The Annual Campaign is Prairie Moon Waldorf School's most important fundraising activity of the year and is an essential part of the school’s operating budget. Our annual budget is comprised of a blend of tuition income and your philanthropic support. Together, these funds support the current operations and essential needs of the school. The Annual Giving Fund is an appeal to all members of our community to make tax-deductible contributions that help ensure the best possible education for our children. These gifts improve the daily lives of students and faculty members. 

Recurring donations are the best way to give steady support, but every gift is appreciated!—One Time, Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual.

If you honor developmentally appropriate education that respects the needs of the child, embodies the qualities of love and reverence and allows them to unfold in freedom, we hope that you can support our like-minded mission here at Prairie Moon Waldorf School.

To reach its goals, Prairie Moon Waldorf School relies upon the support and involvement of our entire community—board members, faculty and staff, parents, grandparents, alumni, friends, and community members—through a coordinated series of fundraising activities. Every contributor is an important stakeholder in this unique community that nurtures our children so completely. Your philanthropic participation is essential to making a difference in the life of a child! Below are several options we can do our share to add to our annual fundraising goal. 

  1. Dillons Community Rewards - Link your Dillon's Plus Card to the school and earn money for the school each time you shop with your Plus Card. Register your Plus Card and choose Prairie Moon Waldorf School as your charity.

  2. SCRIP – Your Grocery Shopping Supports Prairie Moon Waldorf School! Stop by the school office to purchase gift cards from to the stores listed below. Prairie Moon purchases them at a discount price and sells them to families at full value. The difference is the profit earned for the school.

    • SCRIP is accepted at the Merc, Natural Grocers, HyVee,, Checkers in Lawrence.

    • SCRIP for gas at all HyVee locations. Shop in our payment center!
