1. It's a party: Aw, spring! The sun is out, the grass is green, and you can finally go outside without spending 15 minutes searching for mittens—this calls for celebration! After months of hibernation, the advent of warm weather provides the perfect reason for our community to come together and reconnect on the beautiful Kansas prairie.
2. Lady Spring will be in attendance. Wearing a crown of sunshine and a cloak of flowers, this magical maid chases away Queen Winter once and for all. Huzzah!
A Time of Light in Times of Darkness
Fairy lights twinkle above heads, the sounds of the flute and violin dance together around the room, and smells of gingerbread wafts through the air; all the while children run from room to room eager to participate in activities as parents reunite with friends and shop through the homemade gifts. Winter Light Faire at Prairie Moon Waldorf School was, once again, upon us.
